Cost
Single class fee: MX$350
Includes:
- 1.5 kg of natural clay
- 2 hour class
- Low-temperature firing for the pottery you create in the class (without glaze)
Monthly fee: MX$1200
Includes:
- 1.5 kg of natural clay each class
- Four 2-hour classes
- Low-temperature firing for the pottery you create in the class (without glaze)
Private Classes
If Tuesdays don’t fit in your schedule or if you would like to use the pottery wheel, you can book a private pottery class.
What to know
- Guidance and necessary tools are included
- Beginner-level bilingual classes
- Tuesdays 3:00-5:00 P.M.
- Class size is limited to 6 people
- Classes are held at my studio in San Agustín Etla, Oaxaca, Mexico
- Please bring comfortable clothes that you can get dirty
About firing your pottery
I normally fire student pottery in a collective manner using a large kiln. Once a quantity of work large enough to fill the kiln is complete and dry, I then fire it all together. As a result, wait time to fill the kiln and fire your pieces can reach up to two months. If you need a faster turnaround for your class pottery, please contact me to assess feasibility and cost for your timeline.
